This has been quite the summer. I've gotten to catch up with many friends and family members I haven't seen in quite some time. I've also been able to have some new, fun experiences and just in general recharge my batteries before I head off to Oregon on the 15th. It's a real blessing to be able to have so many close friends in so many different places. I am really starting to get excited for everything I am going to learn in the next year. I will be sure to be sending out highlights of what I've been learning in these updates, and will also be trying to actively post thoughts, projects, and lessons on my blog at MichaelBrewer.me. Until next time, enjoy the rest of your summer! | | | New York I got a chance to visit my brother in Connecticut this past week and New York was one of my stops on the train I took. It's surprising with all of the traveling I've done, but it's the very first time I have been in the "Big Apple". I always enjoy heading up to Connecticut to see everyone there, they are a joy to be around! I am so happy for my brother and his wife as they will be celebrating their 1st year of marriage together next month. | | Friends I went to Minnesota for the wedding of some good friends who were students on one of my Colombia teams back in 2010. The great thing is I also go to visit quite a few old friends along the way, whom I am very blessed to know. I am blown away by the quantity and quality of friends I have made over the years, and count myself as rich to have all of these people in my life. | | | |
